ARTIST STATEMENT

    I wrote a draft for an artist statement and was told it was an artist-statement-gone-hostage-video, so instead, I will simply enumerate my practice in concise language for now. I make things. I make things because I process the world through art. The value of art as a tool is unmatched; I see learning as a lifelong pursuit above all else. I use art to explain the world and through that process, the world tells me how to understand.
I want to make things that ask questions because art starts conversations; community is a must. I explore my individuality as it is defined by the uniqueness of others, telling me that we are all not so disparate.
